If our students are going to be successful in pursing their Higher Education and career aspirations, it is essential that they leave us equipped with the confidence and life skills to participate fully in modern Britain and the increasingly global community that they are part of.

​Through our SMSC offering we develop our students' skills in critical thinking, compassion, and empathy. We also sensitively explain to them the  trickier twists and turns they might encounter as part of life and help them develop strategies to cope with situations should they arise.

We deliver this work via our tutor life programme, assemblies, and ensuring the basic principles of SMSC are embedded within the teaching of all subjects offered.
