CHAMBERLAYNE COLLEGE FOR THE ARTS
Expect More. Achieve More.
Careers Education Information Advice & Guidance (CEIAG)
All students should leave Chamberlayne College with clear post-16 pathways and be excited about their future.
Preparing for life post Chamberlayne
We don't expect all of our students to have certainty in the career they wish to pursue but we do want to ensure that they have the highest of aspirations and belief in their own abilities so that they are best placed to make informed future choices.

From the moment our students arrive at Chamberlayne they are encouraged to start thinking about their futures, what are their aspirations and what steps they need to take in order to achieve them. We work closely with our local colleges, sixth forms and universities as well as partner with organisations far and wide so that our students get the best opportunities.
We promote a range of opportunities to help guide our students as they progress through the school to help them develop informed preferences, post-16 choices and career aspirations. These range from in-house PSHE lessons, exploring LORIC strand employment qualities, career curriculum assemblies, employee visits, off site and work experiences, visits to FE and HE institutions as well as use of the Start online careers platforms and bespoke targeted programmes. Students also have access to our Career Advisor who offers impartial advice on future careers and the next step pathways available to them.
