Conquering the Beast from the East

Just before the snow descended, a group of Chamberlayne year 8’s battled the freezing conditions and spent their PE lesson Canoeing and climbing at Woodmill. The lake was actually frozen, and the students were braking it up with their paddles. Congrats to all who showed grit, perseverance, and had fun in the icy conditions.

Chamberlayne Shines at Rock Challenge

Our students were amazing at this year's Rock Challenge,  dealing  with any barrier that was thrown their way in the most professional way possible. A message from Mr Giles - Chamberlayne Update on Future Plans

As you know the school was deemed as requiring special measures in February 2017, and as result many positive changes have been made which have brought hugely improved GCSE results and pleasing recognition from Ofsted and the Local Authority.  Despite the improvements, it is still the responsibility of the Department for Education to ensure that Chamberlayne College becomes an academy.  The Regional Schools Commissioner (RSC) has recently written to me and outlined the beginning of this process.  A copy of this letter can be found here.
